The Scadd Draft Bolt library contains Hex, Heavy hex, Button and Square headed fasteners. To access the bolt library dialog box, from the Steel menu select Bolts then the appropriate Head type. To access the Fasteners toolbar, select the view menu then click on toolbars. Select the Detail - Fasteners toolbar from the SCADD menu group in the toolbars dialog box.
Assuming that we selected a Hex headed type fastener, the following dialog box will appear. Other head types will have similar dialog boxes.
This dialog box allows you to draw fasteners from three view points as well as three nut types.
Keep a list of frequently used fasteners in the Favorites list.
To add a fastener to the favorites list:
Highlight the size of the fastener you wish to add in the size list.
Click on the <- button underneath the favorites list.
To remove a fastener from the favorites list:
Highlight the size of the fastener you wish to remove from the favorites list.
Click on the -> button underneath the favorites list.
Tip: you can start drawing the fastener in the favorites list by double-clicking on the fastener.

Head: Draws fastener looking at the top of the head.
Nut: Draws the end of the fastener looking at the top of the nut.
Side: Draws the side view of the fastener.
Note: Different options will enable and/or disable depending on the type of fastener and the view point selected.
Hex: Draws the fastener with a hex type nut.
Heavy Hex: Draws the fastener with a heavy hex type nut.
Square: Draws the fastener with a square type nut.
Washer:
On - Draws washer.
Off - Omit washer.
